Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is one of the world's most widely recognised green building rating systems. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED provides a framework for designing, constructing and operating buildings that are healthier, more efficient and environmentally responsible.
LEED assesses the overall environmental performance of a building or project, awarding credits for measures that reduce environmental impact, improve efficiency and create healthier internal environments.

The objective of these requirements is to reduce the concentration of chemical contaminants that can adversely affect indoor air quality, human health, productivity and the wider environment.

Aspartech ZERO-VOC Coatings
Aspartech ZERO-VOC coatings have been developed with environmental performance as a fundamental part of their formulation.

Unlike many conventional resin flooring and coating technologies, Aspartech ZERO-VOC systems contain extremely low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), helping to minimise emissions during application and throughout the service life of the finished floor.

This makes Aspartech ZERO-VOC particularly suitable for environmentally responsible construction projects where indoor air quality and low-emitting building materials form part of the project specification.
