LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is one of the world's most widely recognised green building rating systems. It provides a framework for assessing buildings across areas including energy, water, materials, indoor environmental quality and sustainable design.
Construction adhesives and coatings can contribute to LEED requirements relating to Low-Emitting Materials, where the VOC emissions and, where applicable, VOC content of products used within a building are considered.
