A resin bound surface is an exterior surfacing product that provides an alternative to traditional paving, imprinted concrete or loose aggregate finishes. The surface is created by mixing resin with aggregates in a forced action mixer and then laying it as a screed using a trowel. A resin bound surface can be highly decorative, permeable and extremely hardwearing however a resin bound surface is not always the best choice and in certain situations resin bonded, paved and coloured concrete can be a better option.
